To me, becoming a bat mitzvah is the high point of my Hebrew education as I become an adult in the eyes of the Jewish community. It is about hard work, tradition, and being able to share this special moment in my life with family and friends. MEREDITH'S MITZVAH PROJECT
Main Idea girls have the opportunity to experience a wide range of programs and activities during their 10-day stay with us. They live in a bunk with about ten other girls their age, a junior staff member, and three or four qualified staff members.
Their day is filled with six 45-minute activity periods that are structured in a way to ensure quality time for the instructors to teach new skills, for the girls to have ample to time to practice their newly learned skills and to have plenty of time for fun.
